Desired Outcome
Imagine a community where victims feel valued. Where they don't have to tell and retell their traumatic story because the system is focused on making the process as simple and trauma-free as possible with each agency communicating and making referrals as needed. There would be no need that goes unmet because of a team of caring and empathetic individuals who are working together to guide the processs of healing. Each group member would have the opportunity to be better trained, allowing a gain in insight into victimization, treatment, and healing. The Williams County community would be strengthened by the collaboration of such a group. This is the desired outcome strived for by the newly reinstated Williams County Domestic Violence Task Force (October 2021).
